The Albert Lea Seed House began in 1923 to sell quality farm seed.

We began offering garden seed to our farm families as our business grew.  Today the garden center is greatly expanded from it humble roots.  It now includes a full line of garden seeds and bedding plants in addition to trees, shrubs, and perennials as well.

We are also proud to carry an extensive selection of Certified Organic garden seed as well.   In addition to seed, we also carry a full line of gardening supplies, potting soil, soil amendments and everything else your garden or market farm could possibly need.
